Prisms and Flats
GFlats are used as protection or inspection windows in electronic sensors or lasers. Prisms deflect, deviate and rotate beams of light as well as disperse their wavelengths. There are many types of prisms, and each have a specific geometry to achieve the necessary reflections for a particular imaging task. The most important aspect of the prism is the angular specification.
